“City of Wine” ·· Rioja, Spain
The Hotel Marqués de Riscal The Luxury Collection, is one of Marriott International’s brands. Designed by Frank O. Gehry, it opened in 2006, becoming a pioneer wine-tourism hotel in Spain and an architectural icon. Architect Cesar Caicoya, Perinat Interiors and Aluap Interiorismo, who participated in the original project, were now responsible for an ambitious extension project that added 18 new bedrooms to the 43 existing ones. The new extension needed to accomplish the requirements of environmental respect from the 20-20-20 European Directive. The new rooms were therefore designed with recycled materials that in addition reduce the energy consumption of the Hotel. All this while respecting the shine of the main building. The result is a modern extension that offers an added value to the guests, who are able to enjoy a luxury hotel in an enviable environment, knowing that it has been designed aiming for efficiency and energetic sustainability.
Perinat Interiors abstracted the avant-garde spirit in hand with the appreciation to tradition that was key in the inspiration of Ciudad del Vino. Pi’s purpose was to find the perfect combination between modernity and warmth, making guests feel at home with a sense of wellbeing, empowerment and joyfulness. Materials were cornerstone in the design -we remember what we touch-, they needed to feel friendly, inviting and natural. Local noble materials, such as wood and leather were sourced and manufactured by local artisans. Earthy colours, ochres and greens represent the surroundings which are most present in these rooms with large terraces, creating a bond between nature and the interior of the rooms.

Extreme E is a radical new off-road racing series, founded by the same team behind Formula E, which will showcase electric SUVs and futuristic technologies in some of the world’s most remote and extreme environments utilising its sporting platform for the purpose of promoting electrification, sustainability, and equality.
As could not be otherwise, the engine of this project was the ecological nature of the client. During the development, sustainability became the principle and the result is a space where recycling, natural and environmentally friendly materials live together.
In parallel, some materials have also been chosen as a tribute to the historic former Royal Mail Ship the RMS St. Helena that will be the ‘floating garage’ alongside being the operational base for the series and finally other high-tech materials such as niobium (Extreme E’ sponsor) coexist in the space adding value to it.
Following a genuine brief of designing a space where business and fun should be equally considered, the office layout is structured into three different areas: open desking, central container units as meeting rooms and a leisure area that is totally flexible and versatile (works for lay back meetings, entertainment, tea breaks, broadcast and parties.
The space is brightened up with colours (inspired in the 5 locations of their races -desert, ocean, arctic, amazon and glazier-) in specific highlighted areas. This combined with the use of materials, patterns and textures brings a sense of freshness and joy, making this office a dynamic and pleasant atmosphere to work in.
THE CITADEL
LITTLE RIVER, MIAMI
61.000 SF. FULL GUT RENOVATION & DECORATING
Interior Design by by Perinat Interiors and Andina & Tapia
A unique retail, work space, restaurant and market experience in Miami. A grand structure built in 1951, with original Mid-Century and Art Deco features, was a Federal Reserve Bank (it preserves unique historic features such as the bank’s emblem and vault doors).
PI and A&T envisioned a ground floor plan divided into 3 different areas: the Market + the Boutiques + the Mezzanine. These zones were approached and designed as individual spaces but interacting within each other as part of a unified experience. Various axes of communication tie the spaces together. Patrons will first experience an exceptional sensation of the space.
·· The Market, with its warm vibrant colours, aromatic flavours and dynamism of the activities taking place;
·· The Boutiques, casual but chic and sophisticated atmosphere;
·· The Mezzanine, offers a very distinct vertical communication and amazing overhanging balconies adjacent to shops and a café lounge to heighten the customer experience.
A unique leisure and gastronomic experience.
Unlike The first floor — a generic and communicated space where the visitor comprehends the total space but experiences it little by little — the mezzanine takes advantage of the space working as a balcony leaning over of the market and boutiques. Services stores and a convenient pantry are placed at this floor encouraging customers to climb up and providing a wider sight of the underneath floor plan. Communication up and down is then be guaranteed. The balcony was designed as a very eye-catching veranda. A comfortable Café Lounge was allocated on top of the breezeway with views both to the market and the boutiques in a more private environment.
A meeting point for the customer, the professional, the gourmand, the one who looks for products, information and advice. A place where one can savour what to take home or participate on the events taking place or simply walk around. A traditional market with the advantages of the new times.
FORMULA E OFFICES
HAMMERSMITH, LONDON
6359 SF. INTEGRAL RENOVATION, FIT-OUT AND FURNISHING
Interior Design by Blanca Perinat. Contractors INNER XXI.
Complete design concept, refurbishment to a high standard and fit-out of an office space located on the 9th floor of a landmark office building situated in the heart of Hammersmith in London. The space was an open plan layout. New raised floors, dropped ceilings and partitions were designed in order to provide the correct layout for the client’s requirements.
Formula E is a FIA single-seater championship and the world's first fully-electric racing series. It represents a vision for the future of the motor industry and promotes sustainability. Blanca Perinat’s design superbly set layout, materials, finishes and shapes reflecting these principles.
Visitors’ first gaze falls on a spacious reception area with an aerodynamic counter and a curve language integrated in the architecture. Indirect LED lighting interacts with the space. Two other differentiated areas compose the structure of the layout: a more divided and enclosed area where the Boardroom is located with individual offices and in contrast an open-plan office space.
Glass and double-boarded partitions were combined depending on uses and participated as part of the internal signage or branding image. All specialist joinery was bespoke design and the furniture specifically chosen.

Design You Trust features Pikolinos NY store as one of the "10 MUST VISIT RETAIL SHOPS IN THE WORLD".
On a landmark building at 32 Gansevoort Street, right in the heart of the Meatpacking District, PIKOLINOS, the top-selling shoe brand in Spain, opened its doors to their first store in USA. A two-floor showroom and several challenging design goals. The brand, known for its minimalist boutiques in Europe, was looking for a completely new brand identity that would convey their essence.
For M+V, LC & Co. and Alex Perinat, this meant explaining their history (founded in 1984, Spain, Mediterranean), revealing their method, the know-how behind it and objectives (artisanal, crafted production with the best leather to create unique shoes with innovative designs, the highest quality and comfort), expressing their values (promoters of sustainable growth and social actors), sharing their wonderful Maasai Project together with the non-profit ADCAM helping more than 1600 Maasai women to sustain their entire community and communicating the company's commitment to cutting-edge technology, innovation, continuous evolution and a forward-looking vision, while giving priority to the product.
Alex Perinat’s interior design was finely attentive to all Pikolinos' features, harmoniously and cohesively putting them all together, revealing better than ever Pikolinos' essence. The store features natural, earth tones and warm whites bringing the Mediterranean-infused feel, wood from eco-friendly forests and sustainable materials to honour Pikolinos' values and commitment to the environment. And the charming and pleasant atmosphere reflects the shoemaker’s dedication to being a leading brand known for comfort.
The brand would then update its other locations worldwide to emulate the new concept created by M+V, LC & Co., and AP.

OLAPIC NEW YORK HEADQUARTERS
CHELSEA, NEW YORK
4,805 SF. INTERIOR DESIGN & DECORATION
Interior Design by Alex Perinat.
Olapic is a NYC technology start-up that employed over 80 people in NY when AP designed their headquarters in 2013. Its rapid growth and youthful spirit needed a flexible and fun working environment. The table tennis room could easily be used as a conference room and the dining tables could serve as informal meeting spaces. AP designed several meeting rooms with different atmospheres to inspire both brainstorming sessions and formal gatherings such as Board meetings.
As with all start-ups, Olapic is a company with intensive working days where every day counts and plenty is produced. The interior design invites team members to re-consider their attitude to work: its homely and joyful atmosphere, colourful and inspiring, interweaving the boundaries of work and play, and its numerous chill-out zones encourage relaxed conversations in small groups which project positive team vibes, break out of the expected framework of an office, encouraging team members to consider that they are there not to “work”, but as part of something cool and of the process of creating something greater.

BOX PARK RESTAURANT
BRICKELL, MIAMI
2,065 SF. FULL GUT RENOVATION & DECORATION
Interior Design by Valerie Pasquiou Interiors and Design (VPID).
Alex Perinat was appointed to lead the project from concept to completion.
Box Park, the second of the trilogy of British-inspired establishments by Nobu alum Santiago Rodriguez, opened on July 2013. The original space was simply concrete slab and walls, with no installations or partitions. For this restaurant, located in the Brickell neighbourhood in Miami, with European owners and a Spanish chef, VPID conceived a very classy, sophisticated, hip, urban ambience, without going over the top and without the upscale attitude. Intimate yet casual, with a clean and bold design, achieving the perfect atmosphere. A refreshing change from the usual Miami vibe.
The restaurant, although fairly small, was smartly designed creating different environments, welcoming couples in an intimate covered area, groups of four, parties of up to 12, bar seating, seats facing the open kitchen and also featuring a great outside patio. The versatile space planning and design make Box Park the perfect place for a casually intimate evening and Brunch with friends.

Alex Perinat was assigned to lead the project from concept to completion.
Integral renovation of an office space on 5th Avenue and 20th Street in Manhattan. The space encompassed an ensemble of several smaller office spaces. To unify the space into one cohesive office, the old partitions and dropped ceilings were demolished, leaving just the structural walls. A completely new layout was developed by VPID following the design concept developed for KHC composed of transparent glass partitions that defined the whole new space, giving it character and offering better lighting.
